I find traveling solo so liberating. It makes you feel somewhat fearless. It makes you feel big as if you are conquering the world with every step, all the while also making you feel small being surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Life is too short, and it’s a beautiful world we live in. So I encourage you to travel as much as you can… while you can, and discover the outbounder in you. 

About The Outbounder

I started the outbounder as a place to share my adventures as I explore different places around the world, my love for different kinds of food, and a passion to capture a moment in time through photography.

The word outbound means traveling away, or going out (such as a flow)… and personally, it rings true to my soul – I go out to explore, but I take with me a little piece of each place I travel to... whether it’s better understanding of another culture, learning history and traditions, or just simply appreciating that breathtaking views.

In my blog, you will see that while I may not have a professional photographer following me wherever I go, I only hope to inspire and connect with fellow adventurous souls and foodies all over the world by sharing my experiences and discoveries, tips, and photography. One thing you can expect from my blog is that nothing about it is perfect, just real. Raw. No flashy things.

I was born and raised in the Philippines and came over to the United States a decade and a half ago to explore what life has to offer… and what a sweet ride it has been! I am currently residing in the beautiful state of North Carolina, which is now my home away from my homeland.
